Indices
Four validated indices are compiled from MDHAQ scores. See below for details or see the Publications tab for a full overview of articles
Four validated indices are compiled from MDHAQ scores:
RAPID3 (routine assessment of patient index) to assess patient overall status, which is correlated significantly with DAS28 and CDAI (3, 4, 5) and is informative in patients with all diseases.
FAST4 (6), which agrees 90% with 2011 revised FM criteria.
MDS2 (MDHAQ depression screen) (7), which agrees 81.7-83.3% with reference PHQ-9 (patient health questionnaire 9) and HADS-D (hospital anxiety and depression scale–depression), virtually identical to the 82.2% agreement of the 2 reference questionnaires with one another.
MAS2 (MDHAQ anxiety screen) (8) agrees about 80% with HADS-A (HADS anxiety scale)
These indices can be scored relatively easily without a computer. If the electronic version (eMDHAQ) is entered by the patient, myprivatemed.com computes the indices into a report that can be the basis for an EMR note.
MDHAQ, reports with automated scoring and interpretation are available (link to report).
Furthermore flowsheets are generated for longitudinal monitoring (link to flowsheets)
