DANBIO is the Danish research register for rheumatologic diseases (arthritis, etc.) for monitoring clinical quality and facilitating research at the national, regional, and hospital levels. At present, about 60 000 patients are followed in DANBIO with more than 100 000 patient visits recorded yearly.

At present, about 60 000 patients are followed in DANBIO with more than 100 000 patient visits recorded yearly. More than 75 papers have been published with research based on DANBIO data. DANBIO supports both the capture of PROM data from the patient at home (with NemID login) as well as the conduction of GCP-compliant research protocols due to built-in eCRF functionality.
